I’m going to fly to Las Vegas in November with some friends and from there we wanted to rent a car to drive to LA and San Fransisco. From San Fransisco we’ll be flying back home. What’s a good company to rent a car from and what should I watch for?

I am going to go to Las Vegas in a couple weeks with my friends, and then we are going to drive to LA. We need to rent a car in Vegas. We have been looking for a while for rental cars in Vegas that will rent to 18 year old who have a credit card in their name, but they all seem a little sketchy. If anyone knows of a reputable car rental place that will rent to a responsible 18 year old, please let me know. Thanks.
Oh yeah!! We will rent a car…it will be from a really sketchy place…but we will get one!
I have reserved a luxury car for 3 weeks from them in Las Vegas. I am wondering if anyone has experience with them? Are they a decent place to rent from or do they POS cars with cool online photos?
I am going to South Carolina anytime in the next two weeks. I would like to pick up 7/24/09 and drop off 7/26. I live in Texarkana, TX and am going to Greenville, SC. We have an airport here in Texarkana, AR. I went to our local Enterprise and they do not do one-way rentals. Hertz said it would be over 0 a day??! It’s only at Enterprise?? Why the difference? Anyways, my other problem is that I am only 22. I need the car (preferably small SUV) to have enough room for my three boys (4, 19mths, 8ths) and our luggage for a weeks vacation. Any quick ideas for online reservations or should I just deal locally?
i would like to start a car rental business in texas does anybody know the precedures?
I don’t realy care for the prices, I just need a cute car.
i want to rent a car in houston texas for 7 days. the cheapest ive found is enterprise for 9. can i do better than that?
im looking into car rental and am wondering how old you need to be to rent one. Thank you ![]()
I need to go to Texas in July. (I live near Tulsa, Oklahoma). I have 157,000 miles on my Chevrolet Malibu LS and it runs great now (however, the gas mileage is not as good as it used to be, obviously), but it may go out tomorrow or go out two years from now. Should I buy AAA coverage, get another tune-up for good measure (last had one at 120,000 miles), and drive my own car — or should I go through a rental car company and rent a car to drive down there? I’d like to hear some opinions from you folks. Thanks in advance.
If I rent, I plan to use Enterprise (whom I’ve used several times before and have been happy with them) … there is one about 1/2 mile away from me and they don’t charge for extra mileage as long as the car stays in "bordering states" (and that includes Texas).
